Day 11 - The Dreaded Macro

How is it that one little word can fill a (mostly) grown man with dread. This is of course the 'm word', no not that m word although sure that has some stigma, I mean macros... It ended up taking the entire day to get a single macro to work... and even then I am still hitting issues running the queries. This project isn't getting any easier.

There was a really cool street fair on this evening that Diego and I went to. A band and a bunch of stalls. It was a great atmosphere. I know Mountain View isn't a typical US city by any means but it was a really nice environment. I would love to live somewhere that can run things like this with a small town feel even though it is basically a city. I do however object to being stopped in the street to be told that I will die from smoking... I am perfectly well aware of this and have decided to carry on anyway thank you very much... also please don't complain about the smell... both me and the smell would be long gone if you hadn't stopped me to lecture me.

In the Bay Area, there are a total of 31 Cafes... and of course while I am out here I figured I would try every one of them. I have been to a couple before but this time around I thought I would start from the beginning and mark them off. In the first two weeks I have managed to visit 5! So a good start. I will be revisiting this intermittently with status updates!
